Energy Skills Queensland leads energy industry and government engagement on vocational education and training, skills development and labour market issues. By becoming a member, Energy Skills Queensland can provide your organisation with advice and assistance regarding the following:

Skill Recognition: Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), Recognition of Current Competency (RCC), workplace assessment, trade recognition.

Skills Development: Apprenticeships and traineeships, post trade and paraprofessional training, skills sets and short courses, access to funding and incentives, assistance with choosing and negotiating with training organisations. 

Skill Retention:  Staff retention, career path development, reward and recognition programs, leadership and supervision, mentoring, cultural change, workplace training, phased retirement, workforce planning.

Skilling Systems:  Training packages, courses, on and off the job training, skills auditing and profiling, workforce development planning.


Energy Skills Queensland membership benefits include:
