Skills Development: Apprenticeships and traineeships, post trade and paraprofessional training, skills sets and short courses, access to funding and incentives, assistance with choosing and negotiating with training organisations.
Skill Retention: Staff retention, career path development, reward and recognition programs, leadership and supervision, mentoring, cultural change, workplace training, phased retirement, workforce planning.
Skilling Systems: Training packages, courses, on and off the job training, skills auditing and profiling, workforce development planning.
Energy Skills Queensland can provide your organisation with a complete skills audit and workforce development plan to ensure that you have the skills to meet your current and future workforce needs.
Energy Skills Queensland can also ensure that your organisation accesses all associated funding to offset some of the costs associated with training and skilling your workforce.
Members get direct input into developing industry policy on training and workforce development. This policy is used to advocate on behalf of industry to Queensland and Australian Governments.
Members also get direct input into the design and maintenance of national training packages through their continuous improvement process.
