Drilling Industry Training Group

Purpose: The purpose of the Drilling Industry Training Group (DITG) is to provide an effective forum for industry, training and government stakeholders to identify workforce and training needs and issues. The intent is to collaboratively develop strategies which effectively address and resolve these identified issues.

The DITG is open to members who provide workforce planning and/or development for the drilling industry and who want to contribute and influence the changing demands and supply for skills now and into the future.

Forum Requirements: Each forum must have a Chairperson nominated and approved from and by industry, as well as approved Terms of Reference.

Nominations for the position of Chairperson are open to any person falling within the categories outlined above. Nominees will be voted on by members at the next DITG forum.

Current Terms of Reference are reviewed by forum stakeholders on an annual basis and are open to recommendations for change. Terms can be found here.

Nominations for Chairperson and recommendations for changes to the Terms of Reference can be completed here.

Agenda: Members wishing to present at the forum or items wishing to be added to the agenda for discussion, can be requested, in writing, to Energy Skills Queensland and the Chairperson for consideration. Finalised agenda and historical minutes are provided one week prior to the conduct of the forum and are only provided to members who RSVP to the forum.
